Ranking diabetes-prevention interventions across a fragmented evidence base required a coherent network meta-analysis that respected transitivity and quantified the certainty of every comparison.
Built and screened the evidence network (47 RCTs, 31,420 participants) to PRISMA-NMA 2020 standards and assessed transitivity across the four intervention classes.
Fitted frequentist and Bayesian network meta-analysis models in R (netmeta, gemtc/JAGS), evaluating consistency with node-splitting and heterogeneity diagnostics.
Derived SUCRA treatment rankings and graded certainty with GRADE/CINeMA, with meta-regression for effect modifiers.

A network meta-analysis is not easy to do correctly, and many groups make mistakes in it. Their team followed the PRISMA steps properly, and the figures were clear for the readers. The journal accepted the paper with only minor comments — for this kind of work, that is rare.
